For two years, I interned with Peter Millar with is a luxury clothing brand developed around clothing for male and female golfers. Through interning with them, I have been able to see the trends in female golf apparel. I was able to draw three main trends that are coming up in the industry.
Printed Golf Shoes
Over the years, we have seen traditional white and brown golf shoes only on women. Now we are seeing patterns on shoes, such as snake skin and bright colors. This shoe is from the Peter Millar women's line and it shows there new snake skin printed golf shoe.
Classic Bottoms
Capris, kakis, skorts... oh my! The bottoms in women's apparel has consistently stayed the same for a while now. We are still seeing our fair share of shorts, as seen on Michelle Wie. We also see more feminine skorts and dresses, as seen on Paula Creamer. Bottoms for female golfer are consistent.
The traditional polo with a twist
We are also seeing the traditional polo that has been around in women's apparel for years take on vibrant and loud patterns. This piece that is seen to our left is also from the Peter Millar Spring line. It shows a modern new look on a classic piece.
